We are an industrial design and product development studio, specializing in bringing complex design visions to life – from industrial consumer products like garden furniture and tools, to unique custom-made objects. With extensive experience, vast technological knowledge, and a genuine passion for creation, at YOYA DESIGN, we love to engage with the materials themselves, understand their properties, and integrate them into innovative products. Yoya Design Studio, founded by Beeri Yehoyada, specializes in innovative and thoughtful design solutions.
"For as long as I can remember, I have loved products, materials, design, and the construction of objects made from anything around me. When I reached the age where you choose a profession, industrial design fit me like a glove.
My journey in industrial design began with my comprehensive studies at the "Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design," where I earned both my B.DES and M.DES degrees, including a specialization in Design Management. From there, for 15 years, I gained rich and groundbreaking experience in key roles at " Canopia by Palram," a leading global public company. I progressed from Product Designer to VP of Research and Development and a member of the Board of Directors. For 6 years, I, with my 10 designers, where responsible for all aspects of new product development and optimizing existing products, focusing on efficient and user-friendly design, with a specialization in DIY products for the international market (Europe and North America), such as pergolas, greenhouses, carports, and sheds for self-assembly.
My experience at Canopia by Palram provided me with deep knowledge in designing vacuum forming molds, aluminum profiles, plastic injection, laser cutting and bending of metals, and efficient packaging design, alongside mentoring and training designers. But beyond the technical knowledge, there has always been a deep passion within me for materials, for creation, and for the HANDS-ON physical work – which allows me to feel the material and understand its full potential.
Today, I dedicate all my efforts to "YOYA DESIGN Ltd.", my product design studio. Here, I bring the unique combination of extensive experience in industrial development (including the design of injection-molded plastic tools for the American and German markets) with that same love and belief in the material's capability. My goal is to transform ideas into reality for both business and private clients, creating innovative, functional, and aesthetic design solutions precisely tailored to every need, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and uncompromising quality".
